Generally, we spend the first part of our inspection on the exterior of your home. This allows us to key-in on any issues that we might find on the interior, but also to make sure things like your roof, deck, siding, and other components are in good working order.
Our Process
We thoroughly inspect all of your home’s major systems – and then some. We make sure that we cover all of the major points, but we also include items to monitor, maintenance issues, hazardous items, and more. We want you to have a complete picture of what your home is doing.
After we have completely inspected your home’s exterior, we then move to the interior of your home. This is where we spend a lot of time on some of your home’s primary systems, such as electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, and more. We also spend a lot of our time in your home’s basement, crawlspaces, and attic areas. These areas are some of the most important, as they are usually where the defects hide. Afterward, we will then typically work through every living area of the home.
